Background and Approach
Ashley Smallwood is the Founder and Managing Director of The Smallwood Group. She is a facilitator, design thinker, and strategist who partners with organizations to advance equity through collaboration. She loves to combine learning science with organizational development and human-centered design, and has worked for IDEO and Clear USA, fast-growing startup Tough Mudder, and Teachers College, Columbia. University. In addition to her work at The Smallwood Group, Ashley is a Teaching Assistant with IDEO U.
Ashley received a Masters in Education from Harvard University and a Bachelor's Degree in English and Art History from Georgetown University.
When she isn’t working, you can find Ashley with a book, spatula, or karaoke microphone in hand.
